Debiting accounts after cancelation is

In October 2013 I was planning to leave the country for 6 months, as a result I canceled my cell phone contract. The agent on the other side of the phone told me that the last debit order for my account with go through on December. I confirmed multiple times that as of 2014 I will not be debited and he assured me that that was correct. I then phone in December to confirm that I would not be charged in January as I knew how devious mobile companies can be. I was told that my contract had in fact not been canceled by Chris, however the agent proved a little more helpful and canceled my contract immediately. It is now two months later and my account is STILL being debited. Even with email proof from Virgin Mobile that my account was canceled in October they are still debiting my account. As far as I am concerned, this is tantamount to.
