Unable to get through to 3 contact numbers

On 30 Aug 2013, I booked my phone in for repair and was told to call back in 3 hours regarding the collection status. I called 4 different numbers, including the Customer Services number with no luck.
My 1st call, I was told they couldn't transfer me to the repair centre. Then for 45 minutes, the other numbers were engaged.
This is terrible service, in 1 hour the phone lines were not accessible, agents passed the buck or the phones just ring.
Why can't the client be contacted after 3 hours (even if it is a courtesy call) to provide a status update?
