No accounts - electricity cut - don't answer calls

On Wednesday 20 November 2013, I was advised by one of my tenants that they had no electricity. I called the call centre of the Ekurhuleni Municipality as I had no other numbers to call. I was advised that they can not assist me and I need to contact Elaine Griek. I tried to contact her but no answer, I kept on trying for 2 solid hours but no luck. I called the call centre again, holding for 30 min but someone answered the phone eventually. The agent gave me 6 other numbers to call, and guess what - no luck, not one of the 6 numbers where answered. I again called the call centre and a friendly lady told me to just fax the proof of payment through (which I had to thumb because I had no account) and they will restore the power after 3. Two days later the power is still not back on and little miss Elaine Griek is still not answering her phone nor is anyone of the other 6 numbers I am dailing. This is a disgrace!!! What happened to customer service and our rights as human beings? One person does not do their jobs and 10 suffers! Shame on you!!! Why are there people in positions that can not do what is expected of them?
