My sisters Blackberry 9900 Bold which is on a SMME contract, along with multiple other contracts was booked in at the Pavillion service centre on 05/01/2013 for a software issue.
On 09/01/2013 I received a SMS stating that the phone had been received by the repair centre.
On 14/01/2013 I called in to query the status of the repair and was told that the phone is still with the technicians.
This morning, 16/01/2013, I called in to query the status of the repair and was told that the phone was only booked in yesterday, 15/01/2013.
How can I be given 2 pieces of conflicting information pulled up off of the same reference number? Clearly somebody is either lying or incompetent.
When booking in the phone we were clearly told 7 - 10 working days before we get the phone back. Today is day 8 of that period. If it only went to a technician yesterday, it seems unlikely that the phone will be returned during this period.
If this is the type of treatment a SMME customer gets, I shudder to think what a normal cosumer goes through.
