Phone, sim swap and deleting old sim card

My phone was 10/08/2013, I contacted the call centre (173) to do a sim swap in order for me to continue my business. One of their questions was that I provide 3 of my contact numbers, I don't know these things as with new technology, you can save a number to a name, I remember names. I had to try and figure out numbers and contact 173 again, this occurred 4 times with no success (THE NUMBERS I PROVIDED WAS ACTUAL NUMBERS). I was told to go to a police station and get an affidavit, which I faxed through together with a certified ID copy. The call centre lines were busy ever since and my request was still not processed. I had to go into the building on 17/08/2013, the service took over an hour for me to get my NR back!!! WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF RICA??? I CALLED YOU GUYS, YOU COULD HAVE VERIFIED MY INFO AT THE SAME TIME OR ASKED THAT I FAX MY ID AND PROOF OF ADDRESS WITH SPECIMEN SIGNATURES!!! SINCE THE 10TH MY SIM AIRTIME WAS BEING USED BY THE AND ALL YOUR SERVICE GUY AT 14TH AVENUE COULD SAY IS "WELL ITS GONE". THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!!
