Since November I have been liaising with 8ta to cancel my 2 yr cellphone contract with them due to their inability to support Nedbank internet and sms banking.
After an investigation from 8ta's technical team, 8ta has decided that they will cancel the contract because they can not support the Nedbank platform to its full extent.
I have emails going back and forward for 2 weeks confirming 8tas findings and their decision.
8ta has now decided to send my a final bill with cancellation fees.
1) Migration admin fee for moving from contract to prepaid of R400
2) Migration penalty of R 586.25
This is daylight because the decision was made to cancel the contract due to 8tas inefficiency and now I am penalised for this.
No one is getting back to me wrt to these ridiculous cancellation fees, This is against the CPA and therefor I am opening a case with the consumer protectors office to settle this issue.
