Poor customer care

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Tobias Johannes Mokwena. I placed an order for a book called Research Design: Qualitative, quantitative, and Mixed Methods Approach, sixth edition, written by John W Creswell and J David Creswell, at the Van Schaik Thohoyandou (Thavhani Mall) branch on 28 May 2026. On the 10th of June 2026, I forwarded an email to Mrs Tshimangadzo Ramagwa to make the follow-up since she is the one who assisted when I was ordering the book. Unfortunately, she responded that they called me on Friday and claimed that I did not answer MY phone, and they have also sent an SMS indicating that I have to come and collect the book. However, I did not receive or miss a call from Van Schaik bookshop or receive an SMS. When I indicated that I did not miss a call or receive and sms from Van Schaik bookstore, she kept on insisting that they called me and sent an SMS indicating that I have to come and collect the book. Honestly speaking, I am not happy with the way I was treated. I decided to lay a complaint before I can report this matter to the National Consumer Commission because my consumer right has benn undermined. Thank you.
