I purchased a black berry cell phone at CNA Canal Walk branch about a year ago on my Edgars card. It was bought on the MTN network since I have a MTN number. The first phone did not work as it would not go to 3G and the number buttons did not work, they exchanged it. Then after about a year the scroll button stopped working and the speaker was distorted and the screen would go white, phone would freeze and go off and then need to be rebooted. They came back to me saying it it beyond repair because the phone is water damaged. My phone was not water damaged at all. They in fact sent the phone to Vodacom for repairs incorrectly and not to MTN which is the network the phone was bought on. Spent about 3 hours in the shop in total on different days with the out come they cant do anything. Now they will try sending it to MTN due the them sending it off to the wrong supplier. Now without a phone for a month and waiting to see what happens next since they say there is nothing anyone can do. What is the point of having the guarantee if this is the service!!!
