Bogus "Water Damage" Repair Assessment

My Blackberry 9790 was booked in for repairs at the Canal Walk branch on the 09/07/2013. It is now the 22/07/2013 and no-one has contacted me for an update which is unacceptable. I decided to call the vodacom store and was informed that the "technician" says that it is water damage. Now let me tell you that is completely false! I am always careful with my phone especially with water/steam/sweat even my siblings call me crazy. My phone had a faulty speaker, everytime it rings i couldn't hear anything. This water damage story i am not buying, this is your way of ripping me off.

I am not one to fuss and demand good service but i will just let you know that what you are doing is wrong. I just started working and i took out a loan for that phone which i am still paying for. It is not even a year old for you to be telling me that it is nolonger under warranty. The technician who was assessing this phone clearly doesnt know what he is doing and you should either fire him or get him trained. Treating people like this is just not right. Nelson Mandela didnt go to prison for 27 years so you people can rob us!!!
