Hi Peter. Today, I am just so tired and despondent as it is one drama after another drama and yet before the Consumer Protection Act we didn't have so much drama. I renewed my Vodacom data account in 2012 and as part of the package received a Samsung Tablet. Well, this Tablet has given me endless problem with particular reference to the sim card holder. I took it into Vodacom Pinelands and they sent it away to wherever their technical department is late last year as I had taken the sim card out and it wouldn't go back in. Even the manager at the Vodacom shop couldn't get the sim card in so sent it away. I was told when I collected it that it had been replaced. Well, let me tell you that turned out to not be the case and so when I removed it over the December holidays and tried to re-insert it it wouldn't go in so I knew Vodacom had. In desperation I went to Game who were their carriers for the contract and just heard from them that Vodacom wants to charge me to replace this holder. I have a 2-year warranty and it's not yet 2 years. What shocked me most is this Tablet is apparently obsolete so Vodacom knew they were selling me a lemon and now they want to charge me too. Sis!!!
