Ongoing Billing for cancelled transaction

I cancelled a deal whereby some company phoned me and convinced me in buying a Tablet which includes a Vodacom Sim card. After receiving the tablet which backdated into Noahs Ark I phoned the company and cancelled the deal within 2 days. They collected the tablet and informed me that Vodacom will send some courier to pick up the Vodacom Sim card. It has been 3 months now and they have not yet collected the Sim card. I phoned V/C numerous times and "If" I am lucky to get hold of someone on the other side they keep on blaming the courier company for not collecting the Sim card. I in the mean while is threatened by V/C to keep on paying the cancelled fee or else they would cut my other V/C line which I have had for 6 years now. Such arrogance and ignorance have I never encountered, They say that they cannot cancel the contract If they do not get the Sim card back, but refuse to collect it???
