Hi,
I have a complaint about a set of Monroe Gas Magnum shocks I fitted on my Toyota Fortuner exactly 3 years and a month ago. The ride was very unstable, so I took it back to the fitment center a few months ago. They did a check-up and assured me everything was okay. They suggested that the wheel alignment could be causing the issue, which they adjusted at a cost. However, the vehicle still didn't feel right.
I took it to a few other fitment centers, and they all say the shocks are shot. I cannot believe the lifespan of the shock absorbers is only 3 years, especially since Monroe is offering a 5-year warranty now. The vehicle has done less than 60,000 km with the newly fitted shocks, as it is just a weekend vehicle.
Please advise.
