Terrible service

The Vodacom store next to Clicks in Cresta centre has to be the most poorly run store - I recently applied for a uchoose smart 100 contract on a LG G2 device which was a 21st gift for my younger brother... everything about the application has been frustrating - I took out the contract the day before the gift was needed, as it was a gift I requested that the device be activated on the following day at around 9am - guess what, at 9pm that evening my brother received an sms from Vodacom to say the contract had been activated... what a disappointment. Although the phone had been activated, we needed to do a simswop as he previously had a Blackberry - we went in store to do the swop and we were told that the phone would be active with 3 - 4 hours, 5 hours passed and the phone had no reception so we phoned vodacom where the lady on the other end said she could not assist as her system was not picking up the LG G2, wow! Further to this she said we needed to wait for 24 hours after a sim swop to receive reception, but in the mean time the other sim had been cancelled so no one could contact my brother to even wish him for his 21st! I requested insurance & caller ID, both were never activated
