Cell damaged while in for repairs

I upgraded my daughter's contract with MTN Canal Walk on 14 November 2013. Due to her Samsung I8190 screen flickering and eventually going blank I took it in for repairs at MTN Table View Mall on the 4 December 2013.

Bonnie accepted the cell to send for assessment and the cell was thoroughly inspected by both me and her prior to me leaving the store.

After numerous calls at the store we eventually got the cell back 30 December damaged! MTN HVRC job no. mthdo3796546 displays a photo of the damage too which is quite visible to the eye so couldn't possibly have been overlooked at inspection. This cell wasn't damaged when handed in and I can only assume somewhere between being couriered around between depots for repair/assessment it was dropped.

When I mentioned to Bonnie on collection that we both inspected the cell and it wasn't damaged prior to handing it in she claimed she couldn't say yes or no as couldn't remember. However it is standard procedure in the form they fill in to state any damage at the same time of listing the battery, charger etc that will be going with the cell.

I'm most disappointed as this is a new cell which was faulty but now is damaged as well
