Cell C Shocking Service & Blackberry (non) Repai

We took out a contract at Cell C on 20/05/2012 & got a Blackberry Curve 9360. A few months later the scroller started giving problems, so on 24/10/2012 we took the phone into Cell C Canal Walk.

We were told it would take - 21 working days to repair. We never received any feedback from the branch on the progress of our repair, even well after 21 working days had lapsed. We continuously phoned them to find out the status.

We were finally informed the phone was repaired & ready, but when collecting the phone, the consultant suggested we check that it was fixed. We tested it in the Cell C store & found it to be even worse than before, so it was sent back to the repair centre.

After many weeks of us following up with Cell C, we were told the phone was 'BER' due to liquid damage. We objected to their claim about liquid damage & involved the store manager (Stefan). He promised to get back to us on numerous occasions, which has only happened ONCE via Michelle.

There was no initial liquid damage & evidence of this is confirmed, as the 1st time it came back, they claimed it was repaired. Perhaps the repair centre 'damaged' it the 2nd time & now they are trying to put the blame on us?
