Cell number loss - WHY RICA IT?

I bought a sim card and RICA was done!!!
My phone went in for a service after I started having problems with the screen. I had the sim in my posession. When I went to fetch my phone, I checked that ALL INFORMATION on this phone
was lost. NOBODY can give me an answer. This nr is important to me because of information that
could have been sent to it regarding detective work.
All i found on the phone was pictures of a black guy and kids.
I called the number 0788896113 and a black guy with the name Michael answered. I want this number back, as it is VERY IMPORTANT to me in my work. Michael bought his nr from PEP he says.
