Today I go out of my way to purchase a sim card for MTN in order to get a Sim Swop.
Back in June 2013 I was attacked in town and had my phone. I was traumatised and went for counselling.
Along with my phone being so was my valuables money and ID document. I had to wait to get another Id before being able to RICA and get a new sim swop. I call the call centre and I am told that ..SOMEONE ELSE HAS BEEN GIVEN MY NUMBER!!! As of December 2013.
My heart is so sore as Every networking person and teacher I have ever worked with has that number. Some important principals of schools where I used to teach have that number. BIG CONTACTS. Now you guys go and give away my number. I could not RICA or get a sim swop because of the ID doc situation. You guys did not ask my permission. Been using that number for years.
You have caused more stress. Now i am forced to use a Vo da com number. I urgently need my cell phone number back. I need to rebuild my career and people keep stating that they have been trying to call me since way back.
All I ask for is my number. Please. No one should have given that number away.
