The customer really does not matter!!

I went to Vodacom 4U in midrand on Saturday morning at 10:30. I was looking for a Samsung tablet deal. During the course of my application, they experienced a problem with their system. They then told me to go and shop in Vodaworld and they would call me back.

After 2 hours, I decided to leave the mall without any contact. I then contacted the store manager at 13:45 who said he would contact the department at Vodacom and contact me immediately with a status. He did not contact me back. I then tried to contact the store at 14:05 to find that no one would pick up the call, I assumed that the store was closed.

With Vodacom being the size that it is, it looks like the man on the street does not matter anymore. It also looks like business is very good and they no longer need any more business!
