No response from Vodacom

I went into Vodacom in Cresta to do an upgrade on my cell phone contract on Monday 4th November, all was okay. I asked them whether they can do a deal match or offer me a better deal than the current offer as Cell C are offering a better deal. The consultant said they would look into in and contact me on Wednesday morning. I told the consultant i don't believe him and i am sure he won't contact me. He assure me he will contact me. Wednesday came no contact. I went into the store and chatted to the guy, he told me the offer is still with their head office and he will get back to me. Its now Thursday and still no answer. How long can this take, its not that complicated. Think i might chance to Cell C out of principle, and i will get a cheaper contract with a 99c flat rate, while keeping my number. What is the incentive to stay at Vodacom, once you a customer they don't care anymore.
