Port Nightmare!! Should have stayed with MTN!

I collected my new contract phone on Saturday 19th October 2013 and the store told me that they cannot do a port on weekends and that someone would contact me on Monday to do it. I contacted them. We tried all day to do the port (my calls to the store) and I kept geting an error, I called MTN and they supposedly solved the problem. I was told by the Vodacom store that all was fine and my contract would be active by the morning.

Tuesday morning and it was not activated. I call the store NUMEROUS times and call MTN again to find that what they did the day before was still a problem so they fixed it on their side again. The store tried again and then told me the sim card must be faulty so I had to arrange to collect a new sim card. I was told that all was fine and my contract would be active by the morning.

Wednesday morning and it was still not activated! The store says all is sorted on their side and I should wait! I tried calling numerous Vodacom numbers and was told that they could not help me (082129/082111/082196) I eventually contacted Vodacom's port department and Muderick assisted me and contacted the store to try to understand my frustration - They are doing the port wrong
