Poor Vodacom Service

I went to Vodacom Fourways Mall on Saturday to purchase a new sim card for my son's phone and Lerato who assisted me advised me that I was due for an upgrade. I then got the new Samsung S4 from Vodacom Fourways.

This morning the phone went faulty and when I make a call I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me. I went to Vodacome Hyde Park and the guy tested the phone and could not advise what the fault was. I went back to Vodacom Fourways and they tell me that they need to send the phone in to check it and it will take 3-4 days. I advised Denise Nasircioglu that this was not acceptable as I use my phone for business. She said I should use my old phone for the 4 days (poor service), I told her that I gave my old phone to my son and it was formatted deleting all contact details, sms, pictures and I couldn't have an phone for business without any contact details on it. I then spoke to Alistair Buys, the store manager and he said that they had to follow procedure.

I told them this was unacceptable service and insisted on speaking to a senior Vodacom manager. They call 011-653 5000 and I spoke to a Pinky who said she couldn't help me and I should get the store
