I Accidently damaged my phone and then proceeded to claim from MTN SP Insurance, the initial call to them took over 30min for a call centre advisor to answer the call after which the damaged phone was collected for assessment and a loan phone was delivered. After 8 days I still haven't heard a word and decided to give MTN Sp Insurance a call, again holding for 22min before someone answers the phone, then hearing that my phone was beyond economical repair and they would e-mail me a letter authorising me to collect any phone at an MTN owned store to the value of R6 337.00, now firstly I have been paying insurance to cover the value of R7 500.00 what happened to the R1 163.00 balance? Three days later I had not yet received the approval letter as promised, I phoned again, holding on for another 23min before someone answered the phone only to hear that the letter has not yet been signed off, that I would receive this letter within the hour, it has now been another 24hours later and still no letter? Is this the way all MTN customers are treated? As I have a list of reference numbers and still my issue has not been resolved. I really need some answers? Fed Up Of These "Service Providers"
