I called Vodacom on 082 1958 to cancel my home internet contract. The lady who assisted me did not cancel it; instead, she changed the number I have been using to a prepaid contract, despite me telling her that I wouldn't be using the number and didn't want the contract. When I asked her to provide me with the cancellation reference, she said I would receive it via email and SMS. Shortly after that, I received an email stating that my number had been changed to prepaid and that they would continue to deduct from my account.
I called again, and the lady who answered dropped the call when I asked her to tell me her name, as she hadn't introduced herself. I don't know if we are being helped by consultants who don't have names or if it's because they are hired not to cancel our contracts on purpose.
