I sent an urgent registered mail from Constantia (cape town) post officeon 08/07/2013 to a company IN CAPE TOWN. This urgent document has STILL NOT been received (19th July) that's 11days ago for a registered letter.
In the meantime it has cost me my funding from INVESTEC unless I can prove the post office did their job. So for two days now I have been holding on for someone, anyone at the post office call centre to give me the details I need to prove the letter was sent by them. Not only do they not do their job I now have to do it for them.
And do they make that easy??? NO - their lines are always busy - I phoned 3 times yesterday (spent a total of 2 hours HOLDING ON only to be told - "sorry our system is down - cannot give u the information - phone back later" which I did - only to hold on for another 45 minutes - NO ANSWER.
So I decided to try this morning again - I dialled their number at 09h04 - I AM STILL HOLDING ON AND IT IS NOW 10H07!!!
IS THERE ANYBODY WORKING AT THE POST OFFICE?? HOW CAN IT TAKE AN HOUR TO ANSWER A CALL AND HOW CAN U NOT DELIVER A REGISTERED LETTER - IT'S YOUR JOB. I HAVE LOST MY FUNDING BECAUSE THE POST OFFICE IS BEYOND INCOMPETENT. DISGRACEFUL!!!
