The call centre managers at Planet Fitness are rude, obnoxious.
I wanted to cancel my contract at the Port Elizabeth branch as the sauna was out of order for over a month and equipment that is often out of order and this is the reply I get from a very rude manager. The call centre management are impolite and do not know what customer service is all about
Email from Lizette van Loggerenberg: As discussed yesterday telephonically I did have a look at your contract and nowhere on your contract do I see that you are paying for the sauna. The sauna is a free service we are providing to members. It is bound to have some maintenance issues just like the treadmills would. However you need to keep in mind that the parts we require for our saunas we import. Therefore it is impossible to fix it immediately should it break down.
Thus we are not in breach of contract, because of maintenance issues. You have signed the terms and conditions
How can the Sauna not be part of the gym, it was shown to me by the sales staff when I did a walk around the gym?
When i phoned Lizette she did not even want to listen to why i wanted to cancel my contract and told me that i WILL NOT CANCEL MY CONTRACT.
