Account open on decided name

My mom had an account with Russels where she purchase a bed, my mom passed away on 22/05/2013, we did a claim on the insurance she paid every single month now they claim the not going to pay out because of the nature of death, I'm still waiting for the term and conditions and proof that it were explained to her, there is NEVER a manager running the branch so the people treat you like they want to... Now Russels wants to keep my dead mom's account open for her husband to keep the bed and pay it (after I specifically requested for them to collect the bed and close the acc) they don't want to open an acc on HIS name for the outstanding balance so that he can signed for the outstanding and that he will be kept responsible for the acc, NO they want everything to be on a dead persons name, and u to be contacted if he does not pay the acc... I'm still waiting for feedback after the consultant just say's oaky on everything you say to be done... I WANT MY MOM"S NAME TO BE CLEARD!!
