How can they NOT help you!

As a result of poor service I decided to close my FNB Premier account. I transferred all monies out of it to a zero balance. While I was waiting for this to reflect on my on-line baking (it normally takes a day or two), FNB debited me with service fees, and also went ahead to pay a debit order with no money in my account! I never agreed to or entered into any overdraft agreement. I however decided to pay the new "outstanding" balance as well, to get them out of my life. The Premier banker however requested a higher amount than the outstanding amount to close the account. No explanation was given for the higher amount. After payment my balance showed as ZERO. He was informed that I have paid the outstanding amount and that I request the account to be closed. Nothing happened until today when I noticed the account is still open and a further R57.00 was debited against it for "Incidental credit". I have NEVER agreed to any credit arrangement. This account was supposed to be closed. If they want to keep the account open and keep on adding fees they are welcome. No further payments will be made.
