As with the hundreds of dissatisfied clients of Protea Hotels Prokard programme, I am unable to redeem my Vouchers. I have tried for almost a year and there aren't any rooms available if you try and redeem your gold card vouchers. Also, the rates vary when you try and book using your gold card. I was charged R1250.00 and soon this card will expire. I have never been able to use the card and feel cheated about the way Protea Hotel carrys about it's business. I have contacted them but they do not respond since requesting me to cancel without a refund.
