I've recently joined the prokard gold membership on the protea hotel group and experience extremely dis satisfying service with regards to booking one single night out of the vouchers that was given to me for joining the membership. The way i was contact was through a referal as i stayed in Protea hotel Balalaika in sandton during my stay in august of last year which i paid cash. A guy by the name of Howard contacted me and stated that he could get me vouchers and provide me a stay at protea hotels around SA with vouchers and discounts using a prokard membership which i had to pay to join 1350once off.i have been trying to utlise that voucher benefit at every good protea hotel in the country and nothing seems to be avalible. When i tried to contact the head office i spoke to clayton the supervisor of Howard and asked if he could assist me as i was trying to book my anniversary weekend away but after 48hours of waiting i had to contact them to get my surprising news that they cannot assist me. A product sold to me for benefits i cant use, shouldnt be advertised in the first place.i was a normal paying customer which enjoy my stay at protea hotel and now will never want to use them again
