I was in a small accident about 3 weeks ago when a taxi reversed into the front of my car. I reported the accident to the police and called my insurance company who arranged for my car to be fixed with technostar in durban CBD. The damage was minor and my engine was working fine only the bumper was damaged.virgin money advised that it would take 5-7 days to fix but that wasn't the case. After 3 weeks of waiting I called technostar and was given the run around. I finally picked my car up late friday 13th Dec and was rushed to check it and get it off the premises as it was long weekend and the place closed early. I tried calling the virging consultant that was dealing with my issue today and left several messages as there are multiple issues with my car but she has not called me back yet. I am extremely upset by the service that I have been given and I want one of the managers to call me back. I sent my car in for a minor problem and now my engine makes a funny noise, my left wheel is wobbling and my car shifts into neutral while I'm driving?? The latter happened with my son in my car at a busy intersection. Do I need to get an ombudsman involved before something is done to fix it?
