I was one of the unfortunate clients of Virgin Insurance whose car was damaged by hail on the 8th Nov 2012. My claim was submitted on the same day @ 11:38. Being a very patient person i had no problem when the consultant who took down the claim advised that there will be minor delay period due to the high volume of claims due to hail Damage. My first follow up was on 19 Nov (11 Days), second Follow up 27 Nov (19 Days), 3rd Follow up 28 Nov (20 Days), 4th Call 29 Nov (21 Days) - Car was booked in for repairs, 7 Dec i advised that the Car is not repaired to satisfaction, after hearing nothing from Virgin Insurance for 45 days i phoned twice on the 21st Jan 2013, then again 22 Jan when i was advised that my car need t to go back for an assessor to check. With no feedback from Virgin insurance again i phoned them on the 12 Feb, 13 Feb, 11 March and and and... point I'm coming to is NO ONE EVER PHONES YOU BACK, i was promised each time that i will be contacted, i was probably contacted by Virgin Insurance only 3 times the whole 4 Months. You should go and learn a few things about customer service before promoting yourself as "Insurance like it should be". Good Buy Virgin Insurance...
