I went to an ATM to withdraw money in Soweto Baragwanath hospital my bank card was swallowed by the ATM and couldn't get the cash I wanted to withdraw. I immediately called STD bank without moving away on the machine to help me stop all the payments on my account and I explained the situation which they said they did stop all the transaction on my account.
I went to STD bank branch to verify the status of my account and get the bank only to find out that R1000 was withdrawn in my account. They said they will reimburse me after one month of investigation.
But after one month they said they couldn't reimburse me as it was not their fault. How can it be not their fault? They suppose to protect their customers from the but who am I to fight with the big guns like STD bank.
