On the 13th of October 2013 I went to my closest STD bank ATM to withdraw money, but the card got stuck in the machine and I was not able to withdraw anything. I called the STD bank stop card immediately, the lady confirmed that the card was stopped, I asked the lady to confirm if anything was withdrawn she said to me "mam please note that it will take longer for me to retrieve your bank statement", Ok, I asked her one more time to confirm that the card has been stopped, she confirmed. Two minutes after speaking to a lady R2000 was withdrawn to my surprised, a minute later R500 was withdrawn, immediately after that I tried to purchase airtime via cell phone banking and guess what the transaction was successful. Contacted the call centre to explain my situation and to check if the card was really stopped, the consultant placed me on hold for over 10 minutes just to view my bank statements and on top of that he dropped the call on me (that's what I call bad service). Today I received a call from Brenda in the Forensic team, very rude and demanded that I send her my itemized billing and confirmed that she will email me email address to send her the IB and guess what I'm still waiting
