Made a cheq deposit at FNB Meyerton on Thurasday 5/9/'13 at 14:15. I asked the lady at enquiries if deposit will be made today and she confirmed. Deposit did not reflect in my acc at 16:15 and phoned the branch again. I was told that tellers are busy with deposits and it will be done today. It did not happen. Phoned the branch the next morning at about 9:15 after deposit still did not reflect. Was told to wait, the tellers are busy and they had a problem. Phoned the FNB careline and was told they will follow up with the branch and let me know. Received an SMS with a complaint ref. nr. At about 11:30 the deposit still did not reflect in my account. I phoned the branch again and was told they will look for the cheq and phone me back. Received a call back and was told they located the deposit and I can request a "special clearance" on the cheq dep but that I will have to pay for charges. Requested that interest charged for the day we re-calculated and my account be credited. I was told they will find out from the manager and let me know- but still wating for the call. The dep was made at 11;52 (normal cheq dep) on 6/9/'13. Up till this point neither the brach nor FNB careline contacted
