We as a company do a lot of trading outside our borders and are thus being paid in $. We have a $ account with ABSA. ABSA received the incoming payment in $ and returned it to the sender. They claim that they could not reach us, but have not provided any proof of that claim. They have phone numbers email addresses. We employ more than 60 people and do a lot of business through ABSA, but it seems that this specific department really does not care to do more than the absolute minimum. They were sitting with the funds from the 21st of Dec until the 21st Jan when they returned the funds.
This is not the first time that we have encountered this issue.
