On 2/3/2013 I got a SMS from ABSA saying that a payment was reversed due to lack of funds in my account for R2965, but that same SMS said that I had more than enough money in the bank.

A week before that ABSA demanded a work contract from my husband (we were in the process of buying a bakkie) from his employer that must say for how many years he will still work at his company. We supplied a Letter of Employment but that was not good enough.

Today, after 3 calls to the Call centre to get a proof of payment email, that was supposed to reach me within 5 minutes after completion of the transaction, I received these emails a hour later. This was my effort to rectify ABSA's mistake on the 2/3/2013. Now my Medical aid is suspended due to ABSA's mistake.

Today is 6/3/2013 and I am still waiting for dollars (salary) that was paid out last week, but not yet released by ABSA.

Why is ABSA so useless?
