I just called the FNB app call centre abt half an hour ago, to appy for the ipad. I have been a customer for over a year and have met their citeria every single month except for march. I am on maternity leave and as usual the uif office did not deciteria every single month except for march. I am on maternity leave and as usual the uif office did not deposit my money in my acc so the minimum amt deposited was not met, thr months after that it was met. Now fnb has denied me to applg for the ipad. They want me to wait for one more month before i apply. I want to know why? They have sent me an sms saying i have been approved for a personal loan, yet the call centre says even though it was just one month they will not accept my application, i must wait till july. I wanted to give it to my hubby for fathers day, thanks alot fnb for nothing. Btw last year when i wanted it they said didnt qualify as i dont have a credit card or overdraft facility and i wasnt going to apply for it just to get an ipad and when i read the May issue of Stuff Magazine, it said all Gold acc holders qualified. The service FNB has given me up until today was excellent, really disappointed after today.
