I went to hand in my Blackberry 9300 yesterday to be repaired. The consultant explained to me that the phone just need a Software Upgrade, I were having issues with the scroll button and application freezing regularly. After this guy did a in-store software upgrade he delivered the phone at our home without showing me that the phone is in working condition. He just said it need charging but is fixed. We put the phone on charge to find that there is no more software on the phone and is completely useless. Now we have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to send the phone to Joburg to be assessed. If the phone then found liquid damaged I have to pay the courier cost. Is this fair practise as I know that I never ingaged my phone to any type of liquid or exposed it to steam or execive sweat of any kind.
