Liquid damage

On Tuesday 02 of July my Z10 blackberry phone started to get very hot and the battery discharged very quickly. I switched my phone off. When I got home I tried to charge it but it did not want to charge, so I decided to take it to the Three Rivers service centre. I thought is was just a software problem or at worst a faulty battery. I received a call from the service centre on Wednesday 10 July stating that they had bad news, the phone was returned from the repairs department but that it had liquid damage and therefore could not be repaired. I was very shocked to hear this as I know for a fact that I did not spill anything on the phone or dropped in some liquid. I asked for the evidence and all that was shown to me was what looked like an x-ray photo of the phone. It is not very clear and I am not even sure if the photo was from my phone as you can see that the phone was not even opened. I was obviously not very happy about this. I was told if could even have been sweat from my hands. What a shocker that something as simple as non-excessive sweat could cause this phone to fail. I am very disappointed with this service and after 14 years of being a loyal MTN customer and I will move
