After going uo and down trying to upgrade the android software for my phone for almost 2 months, i finally booked in my S3 at Altech Autopage Polokwane for software upgrade.
When i booked in my phone for repair on the 04/06/2013, it had an android version of 4.1.2 and after repair, it came back with 4.0.4... Did you know? it costed me morethan R275 airtime to uprade from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2? and when the phone came back it had been downgraded and i phoned office to office trying to get assistance on the phone to upgrade my software with no success.
I further took my phone to Samsung, Mall of the North, they confirmed that the softwaewe was tempered with and could not be upgraded.
At Autopage Polokwane, the cannot use their Wi-Fi to upgrade the software or otherwisw i Had to pay a fee??? She said this is because autopage doesnt pay the franchisee the value for Wi-Fi. But mind you, i am just a customer who doesnt know who owns autopage or what.
I was assured that my phone will be sent to autopage today, 19/August/2013, and i therefore assume that since it is only a software upgrade it will take less than an hour.
