I took my faulty blackberry in for repairs at the Vodacom Tygervalley branch, they informed me that my phone has water damage, I told them that my phone has never come in contact with water, they informed me that it could be due to condensation sweat etc. I mean so every single phone that comes in has been water damaged.

I told them that just before my phone completely died, it was re booting all thetime and that is software related.

They then took my phone asked for a software upgrade, I then received a quote for R888.00 for the repairs, I went back and fetched my phone, took it to someone else had the software upgrade done, and now its working 100 percent.

My problem is that without even opening my phone to check for the problem, vodacom could asertain that it was due to water damage, they didnt even attempt to run the software upgrade.

I spoke to a few other friends of mine and they all have the same problem, My phone is only 5 months old.
