Early debit of account with no explanation

My account was debited on 28th of March with no warning that the debit order would be taken early. My bank has charged me an unpaid fee, and my credit rating has been affected. On calling the call centre, they refused to give me any information as the account is in my husbands name, even though they are happy to take the money out of my bank account!!! On requesting to be put through to the legal department, the call centre agent simply put the phone down in my ear!!! This is not the way to treat a valued client of many years. The sad thing is, that I know that absolutely nothing will be done about this, as Vodacom could not care less about the little people.
