I have an off-peak 120 account which was used by one of my children as a 3G card running up a massive bill. I sent a request through to Vodacom to look at the bill and what they are charging me - R9 000 odd for 4GB (you can buy 5GB for less than R700 from them) - as I find it rather excessive. 25 days ago they sent me a response saying that the request had been escalated. 10 days later I followed up again to receive an apology and confirmation that this had been escalated. And still I wait. If they try and debit my bank account they do not have a hope in of getting the money, but I will be stuck with an additional charge for an unpaid debit order and a black mark against my bank account. After so many years - I don't even remember how many, with Vodacom, I am disappointed with the lack of service. Normally if you go over your accounted time on your cell you are advised, but they only noticed "irregular activity" on the phone after 3 weeks and once the account was R9 000 instead of the usual R169.
