I have a contract with Vodacom for a Modem for R99.00 and it is a modem with 1 gig data a month. What happen is that in October 2012, Vodacom activated a head set for under my name which the bill went to over R6000.00 and to my surprise I found out about this in December. So the first debit order for the headset went off my in December of over R700.00 and then I enquired with my bank to ask who has debited my account and they told me its Vodacom so I tried to contact Vodacom to enquire as to what is happening and I couldn't get through so I reversed a the debit order. Then a few days later I received a call from Vodacom to ask why is my account unpaid then I told them I only have a modem with them for R99.00 so the other one is and the lady from accounts stopped the number but the owing fees was put against my name. So she explained to me that in order for the fees to be removed, I have to go the police station and write an affidavit stating that I only have a contract for R99.00 with Vodacom and no other contract and as well fax my ID copy then I will be contact about the bill being removed from my name and then a fax number was given to
