I have had a Vodacom contract cell phone account for more than 5 years. My account payment method is via debit order on the last working day of the month. so this means that what ever is left in my bank account after say the 5th of the month is mine to spend. On the 20th September Vodacom contacted me saying that my account is in arrears and I need to pay R1678.89, when I queried this Vodacom says that they allocated a credit to my account and have now reversed it. How is this my problem if my account is set to debit order???
then a few days ago they cut my accounts because of this.
Vodacom's carelessness is not my problem and I want them to reverse this charge of R1678.89 as more than 3 months have passed since then and they should have picked up this error then and not so long down the line. Vodacom is a pathetic useless network. their accounts department is also just as useless. Vodacom needs to resolve these issues as from what I gather a lot of people have problems with them. I want a way out of my contracts with Vodacom without having to pay the remaining subscriptions.
