Do I have to beg for an upgrade?

After checking on the website numerous times, even calling in... I was told my upgrade will be on the 25 February, then the 1st of March and most recently the 13th of March. To add to this my wife's contract which she was told would be upgraded this week is now only eligible in April! Do I have to beg MTN for an upgrade for us after we've been customers for so long. Worse is the constant changing of the dates!
