I have a contract with Vodacom & I was due for an upgrade, I wanted to upgrade to an Ipad mini & Vodacom told me that I can do my upgrade at either Game or Incredible Connection because they do not keep Ipads. I went to Incredible Connection in Cresta to do my upgrade on 22nd of March 2013 I took out a top up package for R379 a month, after I did the sim swop on the 23rd March 2013 I started using my Ipad on the 24th march 2013 not aware that I am only suppose to use my Ipad from the 1st of the new month & I under the impression my contract is on top up. The 29th March I left for Cape Town & I used my Ipad while I was on holiday. On the 5th April 2013 I could not use the Ipad, I thought I must top up because it is on top up so.when I got back to work the 9th April 2013 I received my statement with amount of R4 493.86 I then called Vodacom & was told that my contract is not on top up. I called the lady that helped my at incredible connection &she told me that she did put my contract on top up at that point I was really angry. Nobody gets back to me & i got told by the manager i must pay 50% or else they wont help me!!! but why should i if it was not my mistake!!! I am furious with this
