Am an employee at Woolworths café (coffee shop) in Johannesburg and wish to remain anonymous.
The company is employing illegal foreign nationals, some in management positions, and they are abusing staff rights. South African workers are being mistreated, while undocumented workers are favoured.
On top of this, management deducts 34% of our tips, claiming it is shared with kitchen staff, but no proof or transparency is given. This is exploitation and unfair labour practice.
I kindly request an urgent investigation into these unlawful practices.
