I upgraded my contract in September or October of 2011. As most of you are aware you are eligible to upgrade your contract every 18 months. I went to Makro to enquire about upgrade options and discovered the upgrade can now only be made in September of 2014. This prompted me to phone Vodacom to confirm if this information was accurate. I was told that it is correct because I have upgraded in March of 2012. This means I upgraded 6 months after the first upgrade mentioned. I was under the impression this is impossible. Apparently not. I spent my day today driving to Vodaworld and the police to complete affidavits to have this corrected. The worst part is, my package was downgraded to a talk 500 package from a blackberry 1000, but the contract fee was kept the same. I would like to know how this was allowed to happen, and when can I have the R11, 000.00 from me back? An employee of the Vodacom 4 u store in Alberton City fraudulantly upgraded the account and a handset, not to mention 9000 minutes of talk time I have been billed for.
