Cell C
Contract frustration

To whom it may concern, I was on a Control Chat 300 package receiving R350 airtime on the 15th of every month being billed R300 on the 1st of every month.
I called into the Upgrades centre in November (The 15th or 18th, I'm not sure) and was advised that I was eligible for early upgrade as my contract was over in March 2014.The upgrade was processed telephonically. I upgraded my contract to a Straight talk 100 at R299 a month including 100 minutes, 100 sms's and 3gigs of data. I then chose an iPhone5 and agreed to the device cost. I was advised that my contract would remain on my ControlChat package up until the end of my contract in March / April 2014. Only then, when my contract ended, would I be billed for the new contract, a total of R650 approx a month. Please find these call recordings, you will hear that I reconfirmed this to the upgrade consultant numerous times. Today is the 15th and when checking my balance, I did not receive my airtime. I did however get a shock when I saw my bill was over R800. Apparently I was pro ratad data and minutes due to early upgrade. When calling I was told the contract was already changed at time of upgrade. Refer to my mail for more info.
